Kattanga by Marie Antoinette

Kattanga the War Horse on Teignmouth seafront
Kattanga the War Horse on Teignmouth seafront

Kattanga

As I stand beside the sea
My mind begins to wander
I think of all the waste
And of all the squander

For I know that much of me
Would have been in a landfill
Instead I'm art and standing proud
Tall, free and beautiful

A war horse fighting on to keep
Our world for generations
I am standing tall to save
Land and sea full of pollution

Kattanga, it's a catchy name
So let it stand to remind
That plastlc kills like bullets fired
Total destruction left behind

Don't let a piece of plastic fall
To the ground or in the ocean
It is not fit for purpose
And makes a toxic potion

Be mindful as you think of me
Don't spoil what nature gave
Instead recycle all you can
And let the ocean create clean waves
